Throughout history Borage has been use to treat many ailments. One of the most important nutrients in Borage is Essential Fatty Acids and borage has very high levels of GLA, gamma linolenic acid, an important essential fatty acid. Borage also contains high levels of Calcium and Iron, as well, potassium,  zinc, vitamins B and C are also present in this herb. Borage has been used to help restore the adrenal glands and as a natural sedative; help to calm nervousness. Borage is being researched for its anti-inflammatory properties and as a support for skin irritations.*

Suggested use: The dried leaves can be brewed into a tea, which has been said to have a refreshing cucumber like flavor.
