Tea for Colds – A Traditional Blend of 10 Botanicals

Tea for Colds brings together ten certified organic botanicals with longstanding histories in traditional herbal preparations for the colder months of the year.

Featuring Echinacea Root and Herb, Boneset, Burdock Root, Ginger Root, Tulsi, Nettle Leaf, Chamomile Flowers, Cinnamon and Mullein Leaf, this naturally caffeine-free blend combines aromatic herbs, warming spices and earthy roots in a distinctive herbal infusion.

A full-flavoured tea to enjoy warm, particularly when a fragrant cup of herbal tea is most welcome.

A Tradition of Cold-Season Herbal Preparations

Herbal teas have long been part of traditional seasonal practices across North America, Europe and Asia.

Echinacea has a particularly established place in North American herbal traditions, while Boneset was historically used in preparations associated with feverish illnesses and seasonal respiratory complaints.

Ginger, Cinnamon and Tulsi contribute warming, aromatic characteristics, while Chamomile and Mullein have long histories in traditional herbal preparations associated with respiratory comfort.

Together, these botanicals reflect several different herbal traditions brought together in one carefully composed blend.

Ten Botanicals, Thoughtfully Combined

Echinacea Root – A traditional North American botanical widely recognized for its historical use in preparations associated with immune function and seasonal respiratory health.

Echinacea Herb – The aerial portions of Echinacea, offering another traditionally used part of this familiar North American botanical.

Boneset Herb – Eupatorium perfoliatum, an herb historically used in North American herbal medicine, particularly in traditional preparations associated with feverish colds and seasonal discomfort.

Burdock Root – An earthy root traditionally valued in European and Asian herbal practices, particularly in preparations associated with digestion and general well-being.

Ginger Root – A warming, aromatic root with a long history in Ayurvedic and other traditional herbal systems, especially in preparations associated with digestive comfort.

Tulsi (Holy Basil) – A celebrated Ayurvedic herb traditionally associated with vitality and the body's response to stress.

Nettle Leaf – A nutrient-containing green herb traditionally enjoyed in nourishing herbal infusions.

Chamomile Flower – Delicate flowers with a familiar apple-like aroma and a long history in traditional preparations associated with relaxation and comfort.

Cinnamon Chips – Fragrant pieces of cinnamon bark that add warmth, natural sweetness and gentle spice.

Mullein Leaf – A traditional European and North American herb historically used in herbal preparations associated with respiratory comfort.
