Local & Divine … a cooking immersion 101 and beyond

In these complimentary virtual half-hour cooking classes, we will focus on a seasonal freshly harvested vegetable offered currently in your basket. We will explore both nutritional and culinary values and engage our senses and our creativity to connect fully with the possibilities that local harvest offers.
You will get exposed to uniquely new ideas as I cook in my own kitchen and you can do the same in yours, following my lead, or just watch and get inspired. I will make sure to share many tips and tricks so that you can build confidence if you are a beginner cook or expand on your existing culinary skills. The whole family can participate and at the end, you can be rewarded with a beautiful dish or just a wonderful experience, depending on how much you practically engage.
The recipe and ingredients will be posted a week before the class so that you can get prepared. The Chat feature of the Zoom platform will allow you to connect with all the other participants and build a community of local food enthusiasts, spanning across Canada! Recordings of selected sessions will be available as well.
