Brewing Recommendations

For a traditional infusion, add approximately 1 teaspoon of Horsetail Herb to 250 ml of freshly boiled water. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain.

Horsetail is also traditionally prepared as a decoction, although preparation methods vary according to the species and intended use.

Horsetail may contain thiaminase, an enzyme that breaks down vitamin B1. Avoid prolonged or excessive consumption without guidance from a qualified healthcare practitioner.
