Pau D'Arco is the inner bark of an Amazonian tree called Taheebo tree. It is considered to be analgesic, antioxidant, anti-parasitic, antimicrobial, antiviral, astringent, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal. 

Pau d'arco help prevent colds, flu and other bacterial or viral infections. It helps remove toxic substances, the body is given new vitality which in turn, affects the mind.

Pau d'Arco make a flavourful tea with hints of vanilla and does not need any sweetener added.

Suggested use: Add Pau d'Arco to boiling water water, cover and boil for 20 minutes, turn off the heat and let sit for another 20 minutes. Do not use aluminum pots to brew this tea.

Note: Pau d'Arco should not be used in children, pregnant women, or nursing mothers. It should also be used with caution in people with kidney or liver disease and with those taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs or anti inflammatory drugs.
