Brewing Recommendations

Traditional Bark Decoction

Add approximately 1 teaspoon of Pau d'Arco Bark to 250 ml of water in a stainless steel, glass or ceramic pot.

Bring to a gentle boil, reduce the heat and simmer covered for approximately 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and allow to steep, covered, for an additional 20 minutes.

Strain thoroughly before serving.

Avoid using aluminum cookware for this traditional preparation.
