Astragalus is not commonly known for it's use in Traditional Chinese medicine where it is said to boost the immune system and reduce inflammation, including treating the common cold, allergies, and chronic fatigue associated with adrenal weakness. Astragalus may also help with heart function, kidney function and support those undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
