Premium hand harvested Japanese Sencha with a refreshing aroma and a clean, harmonious balance of sweet and bitter flavours. Soothing, antioxidant and mild anti-drowsy properties.
Our Sencha green tea is deep steamed in the traditional Japanese method called "Fukamushi" which steams the leaves generally twice as long as standard Sencha, resulting in a leaf that is more rich in Umami and less bitterness.
Brewing recommendations: Pour freshly boiled water (80 degrees Celsius) over 1-2 teaspoons tea leaves and let steep for 30-90 seconds. Strain leaves and enjoy. Sencha can be steamed multiple times - up to 4 brews. To do so, slightly increase the water temperature and steep time.
