Horsetail C/S (Shavegrass) - Organic

Horsetail is an ancient plant dating back approximately 350 million years.
Horsetail (not to be confused with cat-tail) is possibly the most abundant source of silica in the plant kingdom. Shavegrass contains silica, calcium and potassium and is considered a nutritious herb. Horsetail is usually decocted as tea and infused into culinary vinegars and tonics.

Horsetail can also be used in combination with other detox herbs. Our Perfect Detox Tea is a simple and yet, effective blend of organic horsetail, organic nettle leaf, organic nettle root, organic milk thistle seeds and wild harvested mullein leaf.
