Organic Tulsi Rama Leaf from India

Organic Tulsi Rama leaf is carefully sourced from Kerala, India and selected for its gentle, sweet character. Naturally caffeine free, Tulsi Rama is one of the most approachable Tulsi varieties, with a mellow flavour, delicate peppery and minty notes, and a subtle natural sweetness.

Tulsi Rama (Ocimum tenuiflorum), also known as Holy Basil, has been treasured for centuries in India and holds an important place in Ayurveda. Tulsi is traditionally regarded as an adaptogenic herb and has a long history of use in Ayurvedic herbal preparations and as an everyday herbal tea.

Traditionally, Tulsi has been used to support the body's response to stress, as well as to support digestion, respiratory health, immune function, and general well-being. Tulsi Rama's mild character makes it particularly enjoyable as a daily herbal tea, either on its own or blended with other herbs and flowers.

Tulsi Rama has a sweet and mellow flavour complemented by delicate peppery and minty notes and a subtle sweet aroma. Compared with the bold, warming and clove-like character of Tulsi Krishna and the crisp, citrusy character of Tulsi Vana, Tulsi Rama offers a gentler, softer cup.
