Arjuna is a large tree, commonly found throughout india. According to Ayurveda, Arjun is the best herb for preventing heart disease and also recovering from it. Arjun can be effective in bringing down LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It may reduce inflammation and congestion that can damage the heart.

Arjun bark can be effective in the treatment of asthma. It can help alleviate coughs with mucus.

In Ayurveda, Arjun is also used to help the spiritual heart. It is used to treat emotional disturbance.

The herb Arjun is named after the warrior prince in Bhagavad-Gita (a philosophical conversation between Arjun and Krishna) to whom Krishna expounds the nature of being, the nature of God, and the way humans can come to know God.

Recommended use: Take 1/4 to 1/2 tsp on tongue and follow with warm water. or mix it with water or tea.
